Castor is now ISO 27001 certified!

As of  November 2017, Castor is officially certified in the field of Information Security (ISO 27001 – Standards for Information Security Assurance), the standard that describes how Information Security should be organized in a process-based manner in the context of the general business risks for the organization.

Information Security plays an increasing role in international organizations, due to the increase of external risks. At Castor, we process highly sensitive information and thus we need to have all information security procedures in order. An independent auditor assessed Castor very positively, without a single deviation. Castor complies with the international standard for securing systems containing information. This ensures the data of our customers and protects medical data in a standardized way.

Castor is also NEN 7510 (Dutch Standardization Institute) certified. This is the Dutch Standard for Healthcare Information Security and proves that Castor handles medical research data with the utmost care, security and responsibility.
