Focuses on creating a scalable solution that will aid in the standardization of medical research data. Martijn is a PhD researcher at Castor in combination with the Academic Medical Centre (AMC). At this moment, finding and using standardized codes (ontology concepts) that define variables in clinical studies is time-consuming and requires a lot of medical and technical domain knowledge. Martijn’s research focuses on creating a scalable solution that will aid in the standardization of medical research data, allowing researchers to annotate variables and semantically model the relationships between them in a user friendly way.
